SARM1 and infection: We showed that larvae carrying Ect4/SARM mutations (Figure S2B) display a strong over-activation of Drosomycin expression (visualized with the Drs-GFP reporter transgene and quantified by q-RT-PCR) upon infection, phenotype that was not observed in dMyd88 mutant larvae (Figure 6A and 6B and Figure S5A).
