Such antibodies (some nonneutralizing inhibitory IgG as well as the monoclonal neutralizing IgG1 b12 for example) are not detected in the new neutralization assay performed with FcγR-expressing TZM-bl cells [60], undoubtedly due to differences in viral epitope-antibody recognition or host-cell susceptibility to HIV infection (high levels of expression of CCR5) or that these cell lines express only one of each FcγR subtype and not a combination of multiple FcγRs.
