As shown in Figure 5A, suppression of miR-18a after the transfection of miR-18a inhibitor not only increased the expression of ATM in both breast cancer cell lines, but also dramatically increased the levels of phosphorylation levels of H2AX (γ-H2AX) and 53BP1 (p-53BP1).
