It has been shown the activation of EP2-cAMP-PKA-GSK-3 signaling pathway leads to decrease of beta-catenin phosphorylation, allowing its translocation and activation of Tcf/Lef dependent-transcription (for a review, see [34]) of genes involved in cancer, such as COX-2 and VEGF.
