Again, serum HSP60 levels were significantly higher in CRC patients (1.3 ± 0.3 ng·mL−1; range, 0–25 ng·mL−1) than in healthy volunteers (0.2 ± 0.1 ng·mL−1; range, 0–1.7 ng·mL−1) (P < 0.0001) (Fig. 5A), confirming the observation made on the first cohort. This evidence concerns the gene HSPD1 and colorectal carcinoma.
