Indeed, our recent finding demonstrated a selective activation of Akt and mTOR in NSCLC cells, and this NSCLC cell specific Akt and mTOR activation could be abrogated by genistein, the agent which restores the normal N-CoR conformation and function (Azhar and Khan et al. manuscript in preparation) [23].
