Apoptosis was measured 24 hours after treatment of SKOV-3, CAOV-3 and SW626 ovarian cancer cells with four different inhibitors of NF-κB, 5 nM 6-Amino-4-(4-phenoxyphenylethylamino) quinazoline [53], 50 μM Isohelenin [54], 50 μM IKK-2 inhibitor SC-514 [55], and 200 μM IKK inhibitor II Wedelolactone (7-Methoxy-5,11,12-trihydroxy-coumestan) [56] or DMSO (control). This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and ovarian carcinoma.
