When LVMI was considered as a continuous variable in the whole population of the MS group, it was found to be positively correlated in univariate analysis with height (r=0.278, p=0.023), weight (r=0.62, p=0.004), BMI-SDS (r=0.360, p=0.005), fasting insulin level (r=0.325, p=0.009), HOMA-IR (r=0.319, p=0.010) and FGIR (r=0.311, p=0.013) and negatively correlated with QUICK-I (r=–0.331, p=0.008). This evidence concerns the gene INS and myeloid sarcoma.
