More recent markers for cardiovascular risk, like plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 (PAI-1), tissue-type plasminogen activator (tPA), urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA), tPA/PAI-1 complex and high sensitive CRP (hsCRP), have not been studied before in CAH patients. This evidence concerns the gene PLAU and congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
