Hypomethylating agents (azacitidine and decitabine) and Histone deactylase (HDAC) inhibitors suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA) have been approved by FDA for the treatment of myelodydplastic syndrome and cutaneous T cell lymphoma, respectively. Here, HDAC9 is linked to primary cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
