TP53 and skin neoplasm: As aforementioned, post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation and acetylation are critical for stabilization and activation of p53 [36] our data showed that phosphorylation of p53 (Ser15) increased in mouse skin tumors treated with resveratrol and BTP, but the combination induced more efficient stabilization and phosphorylation of p53 protein at (Figure 5).
