Having showed, in our previous report [26] and in the present study in assays in cell lines, that type 1 and type 2 EBNA-2 differentially regulate LMP-1 and CXCR7, we examined whether this phenomenon occurs also during infection of primary B cells with BAC-derived EBV recombinant viruses, expressing either type 1 or type 2 EBNA-2. This evidence concerns the gene ACKR3 and infection.
