APOA1 and hypertensive disorder: The levels of body height, weight, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, pulse pressure; the prevalence of hypertension; and the percentages of subjects who consumed alcohol or smoked cigarettes were higher in males than in females (P < 0.05-0.001), whereas the levels of BMI, HDL-C and ApoA1 were lower in males than in females (P < 0.05 for all).
