CD4 and anemia: Compared with unexposed women (Table 1), HAART-exposed women were older (30.3 vs. 28.9, p < 0.001), had a lower median CD4 count (154 cells/mm3 vs. 191 cells/mm3, p < 0.001), and a lower rate of anaemia (46% [416/912] vs. 57% [57/100], p = 0.03).
