ENO2 and cardiac arrest: Recently, studies [9,20] testing the predictive values for NSE to predict poor outcome (CPC 3-5) in comatose patients after cardiac arrest treated with therapeutic hypothermia, reported cut-off values for NSE, at 48 h, of 28 ng/mL and 33 ng/mL, respectively; a result no different from that reported by Zandbergen et al. in patients without therapeutic hypothermia [2].
