Among the host genes that seem to be required for the viral infection, since their silencing delay or suppress TYLCSV replication, we identified two encoding protein kinases that interact with TYLCSV C4 (Héricourt et al., in preparation): BAM1 (Barely any meristem 1) and SK4-1/SKK (Shaggy-related kinase kappa). This evidence concerns the gene WEE1 and viral infectious disease.
