CRP and coronary artery disorder: In diabetic subjects with CAD univariate linear regression analysis showed that selenium levels were associated significantly with gender [standardized regression coefficient (beta) = 0.25, p = 0.009], BMI (beta = -0.22, p = 0.02), glucose levels (beta = 0.21, p = 0.03), number of platelets (beta = -0.19, p = 0.05) and C-reactive protein (beta = -0.19, p = 0.04).
