A cytokine panel was detected in the sera of SLE patients, and we found that cytokines of the common γ-chain (γc) family (including IL2), the IL3 family (including G-CSF), and class ΙΙ receptors (including IFNγ) all correlated with STAT5 phosphorylation in B cells (Figure 5). The gene discussed is CSF3; the disease is systemic lupus erythematosus.
