Our data demonstrate that HPN has profound inhibitory effects on airway inflammation in a mouse model of asthma, and this effect was caused by suppression of Th2 cytokines (IL-5), B cell-dependent production of OVA-specific and IgE, eosinophil CCR3 expression, through the inhibition of GATA-3 transcription factor. The gene discussed is CCR3; the disease is asthma.
