It has been shown that the HELZ interactor SMYD3 changes subcellular localization during cell cycle progression and several RNA helicases have been reported to shuttle between nucleus and cytoplasm [8], [26], [27] Thus, we synchronized the cell cycle of the human hepatoma cell line HuH-7 and examined HELZ subcellular localization during cell cycle progression by indirect immunofluorescence (Supporting Figure S1). This evidence concerns the gene HELZ and hepatocellular carcinoma.
