MKI67 and neoplasm: In the lungs of mice, altered integrin-expressing tumors had significantly less Ki67 staining than they did in GFP-expressing controls (Figure 4Aiv, Biv, Civ, Div and quantitative data shown in Additional File 3), supporting a role for integrin α5 and α6 subunits in regulating tumor growth, in part through effects on cell proliferation.
