PTGS2 and colorectal cancer: Use of COX2 inhibitors for more than a year was associated with a significantly increased risk of breast cancer (odds ratio (OR) 1.24, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.08–1.42) and haematological malignancies (OR 1.38, 95% CI 1.12–1.69) and a decreased risk of colorectal cancer (OR 0.76, 95% CI 0.63–0.92).
