PTGS2 and T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia: The cytotoxicity of 1–5 to the human tumor cell lines CCRF-CEM (T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia) and DLD-1 (colon adenocarcinoma) was studied, and the ability of 1–5 to inhibit the expression of the pro-inflammatory iNOS (inducible nitric oxide synthase) and COX-2 (cyclooxygenase-2) proteins in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)–stimulated RAW264.7 macrophage cells was also evaluated.
