In contrast, CD4 cell counts ≤50/mm3 (OR = 0.4 [95%CI:0.2–0.8]), adenopathies (OR = 0.54 [95%CI:0.3–1]), cavitation (OR = 0.16 [95%CI:0.04–0.7]) and retraction (OR = 0.10 [95%CI:0–0.6]) were associated with a lower risk of AFB negativity.
