Our result demonstrated about 5 and 9 fold Bax/Bcl-2 ratios at the treatment of 1.0 and 2 mg/ml concentration of oxymatrine respectively, compared with controls, which suggested that the alteration of Bax/Bcl-2 expression was associated with oxymatrine-induced pancreatic cancer cells apoptosis. Here, BCL2 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
