Finally, in metabolism (Figure 7D) we found concordant upregulation of oxidative stress-response genes such as Gfpt2[34] and glycolysis related genes such as Pgk1[35], with downregulation of gluconeogenesis gene Eno2[36], and diacylglycerol kinases Dgka and Dgkh, important in fatty acid metabolism and insulin resistance[37]. This evidence concerns the gene DGKH and Insulin resistance.
