Everolimus (a rapamycin derivative) treatment has been shown to reduce tumor growth of cisplastin-resistant clear cell ovarian carcinoma cells [56] and both the onset and progression of ovarian cancer in a mouse model expressing SV40 Large T antigen driven by the MIS type II receptor (Amhr2) promoter [2], [56]. This evidence concerns the gene AMHR2 and ovarian carcinoma.
