IFNG and infection: BCG-vaccinated/rHBHA-boosted mice also produced slightly higher amounts of IFN-γ (505 ± 150 pg/mL, P < 0.05) (Figure 1A) after infection, in comparison with those induced by the BCG-vaccinated non-boosted mice (252 ± 14 pg/mL) (Figure 1A) and PBS control mice (236 ± 32) (Figure 1A).
