The comparison between siNC and siNF-kB 1 treated samples indicated that IL-1β expression was significantly (p = 0.001) up-regulated by siNF-kB 1 inhibition only at 4 h post-infection, whereas IL-6 expression was significantly up-regulated at both 1 h and 4 h post-infection (p = 0.009 and p = 0.0004, respectively). Here, IL1B is linked to infection.
