KRAS and dengue disease: The high burden on public health care and the limited options of therapy for dengue diseases have stimulated efforts to identify and characterize potential viral drug targets, such as the non-structural protein 3 (NS3) serine proteases, and to design and evaluate antiviral inhibitors that are equally effective against the four dengue virus serotypes and related members of the Flaviviridae (Lindenbach and Rice, 2007).
