Significant differences in expression levels (i.e. mean ΔCtnormal (95%CI) vs. ΔCttumor(95%CI)) between normal and tumor tissue were observed for SLCO1B3 in prostate cancer [0.23 (0.23 to 0.23) versus 104 (44 to 164); 45.7-fold increase; P = 0.03] and testicular cancer [174 (0.3 to 350) versus 14.0 (0.3 to 26); 12.8-fold decrease; P = 0.01]. Here, SLCO1B3 is linked to Familial prostate cancer.
