Intriguingly, quantitative real-time PCR showed that expression levels of MCM7 in 9 lung cancer tissues (6 NSCLC cases and 3 SCLC cases) were significantly higher than those in 11 normal tissues containing lung, brain, colon, esophagus, eye, liver, rectum, stomach, bladder and kidney (Figure 1A). This evidence concerns the gene MCM7 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
