Quantitative real-time PCR analysis using 23 normal bladder tissues, 124 bladder transitional cell carcinomas (TCCs) and 12 upper urinary tract transitional cell carcinomas (UUT-TCCs) showed elevated mRNA levels of MCM7 in bladder and especially UUT-TCCs compared with normal bladder tissues (Figure 2A). Here, MCM7 is linked to renal pelvis/ureter urothelial carcinoma.
