LEP and autosomal dominant cerebellar ataxia: Higher levels of fat mass in boys (3.6 ± 0.5 kg) and women (9.6 ± 0.9 vs. 8.3 ± 0.9 kg); leptin in boys (2.4 ± 0.03 vs. 1.6 ± 0.08 ug/L), girls (4.2 ± 0.2 vs. 2.9 ± 0.1 ug/L) and women (6.9 ± 0.2 vs. 3 ± 0.1 ug/L) and leptin to fat mass ratio (Leptin/FM) in women (0.72 ± 0.05 vs.0.39 ± 0.06 ugL-1kg-1) were also found in the steady SCA patients compared to unsteady SCA patients (Table 3).
