We used a cell biosensor chip system for continuous monitoring of changes in cell metabolism and cell morphology for time-resolved analysis of cisplatin action on tumor cells including the breast cancer cell lines MCF-7 (p53 wild type) and MDA-MB-231 (p53 mutant), the colon cancer cell lines HT-29 and HCT-116, and the hepatocellular carcinoma HepG2. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is malignant colon neoplasm.
