Söderlund-Venermo et al., [23] diagnosed acute primary HBoV infections in 49 (19%) of 258 children with expiratory wheezing, and Lindner et al., [24] detected IgM against HBoV by ELISA in 10/24 (42%) of sera samples obtained from HBoV DNA-positive children and infants with infections of the respiratory tract. This evidence concerns the gene CD40LG and Respiratory tract infection.
