At 6 h post-infection (h.p.i.), most of the infected cells were labeled with the MAA+ (0.87±0.02, n = 395) (Fig. 4A), but not with the SNA+ (0.10±0.07, n = 465) (Fig. 4B), indicating the preference of AIV H6N1 for the SAα2–3Gal receptor (Fig. 4C). Here, NAA10 is linked to infection.
