As shown in Fig. 1, we stained HCMV IE1 (green, B and E) and ND10 (anti-PML in red, A and D) at five hours post-infection (hpi) of the HCMV UL131-repaired AD169 (vDW215-BADrUL131) in NIH3T3 cells (A–C) and of the wt (wild type) MCMV in human cells (D–F). The gene discussed is PML; the disease is infection.
