To further dissect signaling pathways regulated by FLT3-ITD, we applied Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) [30] and identified Fc epsilon RI-mediated signaling pathways, B cell receptor signaling, CD40, IL2/3, and STAT3 pathways were enriched in FLT3-ITD regulated phosphoproteins, some of which are known to be involved in the pathogenesis of AML (Figure 2B). The gene discussed is STAT3; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
