Various tumour suppressor genes have been shown to be frequently hypermethylated in NK/T-cell lymphoma including p73, CDKN2A, CDKN2B, hMLH1 and RARβ[34], but hypermethylation of miR-124-1 is one of the first reports of methylation of miR in NK/T-cell lymphoma. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2B and T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
