To further elucidate the efficacy of Danusertib on the different populations of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, hematopoietic cells derived from CML and non-CML patients were separated by a cell sorter into the following three subgroups: (1) CD34+38− cells, (2) CD34+38+ cells, and (3) CD34−38+ cells, reflecting an increasing differentiation status of the cells. The gene discussed is CD34; the disease is chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
