We showed a prominent interaction between DNA-PKcs and c-Myc and an increased level of phosphorylated c-Myc levels in PC3-MM2 cells compared to PC3 cells, suggesting the possibility that the overexpressed DNA-PKcs might contribute to the overexpression c-Myc in metastatic cancer cells via its stabilization. The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm.
