Lee and colleagues [19] evaluated the association between PRL and PRLR tag SNPs and breast cancer risk in a case-control analysis of approximately 3,500 multiethnic premenopausal and postmenopausal women and reported that PRL rs9466314 was associated with increased breast cancer risk and that PRLR rs34024951 was associated with decreased risk. This evidence concerns the gene PRL and breast carcinoma.
