In an overall comparison to the putative intermediate EPHX1 activity, low EPHX1 activity decreased risk of lung and UADT cancers significantly (OR = 0.83; 95%CI = 0.75–0.93, P = 0.001) and high EPHX1 activity increased the cancer risk (OR = 1.20; 95%CI = 0.98–1.46; P = 0.081) (Table 3 and Figure 3). The gene discussed is EPHX1; the disease is cancer.
