The duration afterthe initial infection was not a cause of hypo-responsiveness as CD4+cells from 1x mice infected on day 0 and sampled on day 25 (Figure S1A) whichfailed to proliferate extensively in response to antigen, (Figure S1B),released abundant antigen-driven IFNγ showing that the cells were responsive toantigenic re-stimulation (Figure S1C).
