Table 1 shows that there is a high detection rate of HER-2 overexpression in recurrent breast cancer in comparison with primary lesions (84.21% versus 33.33%)(p < 0.05), and in the presence (positive) or absence (negative) of axillary lymph nodes (p < 0.05) (65.52% versus 22.22%), a detection rate showed no correlation with patients age. The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is breast cancer.
