CASP3 and breast cancer: Noscapine (150–550 mg/kg/day) treated regressed tumors showed DNA fragmentation (Fig. 5A and 5C) and widespread staining of activated cleaved caspase-3 expression compared to controls (Fig. 5B and 5D), indicating that Noscapine induced apoptosis in a dose dependent fashion of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells in-vivo.
