IGHE and immunodeficiency 32B: T-cell type of the disease is characterized by fever and high titers of EBV-related antibodies, whereas hypersensitivity to mosquito bites and high titers of IgE are observed in patients with the NK-cell type of CAEBV infection.49 Cell type infection is important also in predicting the related prognosis, because the survival rates are different between the two groups: T-cells type of CAEBV infection has shorter survival times than those with NK-cell type of infection.49
