We suggest that RAS induction at point 12, on the one hand, rescues the reduction of the NFκB pathway and renews the induced expression of chemokines and the cytokines, that contribute to cell proliferation and comprise the "tumor-forming" genetic signature according to Milyavsky et al. On the other hand, H-RAS activation did not change the major transcription pattern that includes reduced signal transduction. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is neoplasm.
