CD40LG and Q fever: During January 1985–December 2009, a total of 179,794 serum samples were analyzed (Table 1, Figure 1); 39,472 (30%) were positive, i.e., positive for antibodies at the first screening at a 1:100 dilution; 3,723 patients had acute Q fever (phase II IgG titer >200 and phase II IgM titer >50), and 1,675 had chronic Q fever (phase I IgG titer >800).
