IL10 and infection: Twelve weeks post-infection, IL-10 production increased in lymph node cells from mice inoculated with either isolate, but cells from mice inoculated with LTCP393(R) continued to produce higher levels of this cytokine than those from mice inoculated with LTCP15171(S) (2.190±0.1237 ng/ml and 1.488±0.1190 ng/ml, respectively; p = 0.0064) (Fig. 4C).
